Saybrook University welcomes prospective students for the School of Mind-Body Medicine to attend the Intermediate Hypnosis residential class on the morning of January 16, 2013 at the Catamaran Resort in San Diego. Applicants are invited to arrive Wednesday morning between 8:00 and 8:15 AM, and will meet with an MBM mentor briefly before class. The morning class begins at 8:30 am and continues through 12:30 PM, at which time the prospective students can share lunch with current students and faculty.
This course — “Intermediate Training and Education in Applied Hypnosis” — provides students with an advanced skill-set to conduct hypnotic interventions, along with additional knowledge about hypnotic concepts and approaches. Prospective students will have an opportunity to demonstrations of observe hypnotic inductions. In addition, through this class students develop a sophisticated ability to learn and assess new applications of hypnosis to common medical and behavioral disorders.
