The Certificate in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback comprises three academic courses, two residential conferences, one graduate colloquium, and a capstone integrative essay. Guided by individualized mentorship, students will examine biofeedback and neurofeedback in the following areas:
- Clinical practice
- Psychophysiological research
- Instrumentation
- Physiological systems
- Applications
This biofeedback and neurofeedback certificate program is designed to prepare graduates for certification from the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). All biofeedback and neurofeedback training and didactic education is designed to follow the knowledge blueprint of the BCIA. An alternative for those who wish to obtain a comprehensive introduction to biofeedback and neurofeedback without undertaking an academic degree program, graduates may choose to integrate these approaches into their own clinical practice and research.
