This three-workshop sequence is led by leading experts in organizational systems theory, collaborative leadership and crisis management. Guided by faculty who are leaders in their field, students will cover several topics, including:
- Organizational Dynamics
- Psychodynamics
- The nature of social systems
- Crisis prevention
- Strategic planning
- Designing ethical work environments
Graduates of the Certificate in Crisis Management program will have a basic knowledge about complex organizations: the typical and atypical ways in which they behave, make and don’t make important decisions, and resist change. By applying what they’ve learned into real organizational problems and crisis management plans, they will be prepared to provide consulting services to public, corporate, and non-profit organizations and executive teams.
