From Alumna Margo Maine, PhD ’85:
Dear Friends – The book that has been my “extra” project of the last 2 years was just released. It is an edited volume and a great contribution to the field as my co-editors and the writers are dedicated and innovative experts and leaders in the field. As is the case for many fields, the gap between what eating disorder research examines and what clinicians and patients face each day is enormous. The book intends to bring the two together, so each can inform the other and we can do a better job, decreasing the pain and suffering these deadly disorders can cause.
This is geared to training mental health professionals and graduate students, so not something to buy for your coffee table- I just wanted to let you know it’s done so I won’t be complaining so much about it….
Please pass it along to anyone who might be interested.
And enjoy the end of summer-
Margo
