Jay G. Cone, MBA

Jay Cone - Jay G. Cone, MBAJay Cone has spent the past 25 years designing and facilitating leadership development, strategic thinking, and innovation learning processes.  Prior to joining Interaction Associates, Jay worked in the food service industry as a Training manager, Human Resources Director and Organizational Development consultant.

A noted speaker and writer, Jay has presented at the National Restaurant Association’s National Show, The Southwest Food Expo and the Texas Restaurant Association’s Educational Foundation Management Conference.  Jay’s articles on leadership development have appeared in Training Magazine, the Training & Development Journal, the Journal of Global Business and Organizational Excellence, and The American Society for Training and Development’s Best of Customer Service Training.  Jay’s most recent article entitled “Authentic Accountability” can be found in the International Leadership Association’s collection: Leadership for Transformation.

Mr. Cone served for five years as adjunct faculty for the Executive MBA program at The University of Texas at Dallas where he taught a course called Building Effective Teams.

Jay’s current consulting practice focuses on senior team facilitation, strategic thinking, and collaborative innovation.

Jay received a B.A. in Philosophy from U.C.L.A. and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Jay is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Systems from Saybrook University. He is certified in Management Research Group’s Strategic Leadership Development Process, The Center for Creative Learning’s VIEWTM assessment of creative problem solving styles and is CAPT qualified to administer Myers-Briggs assessments.
