The Psychology Department at Stony Brook University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology for Fall 2012.
Applicants must have a record of first-rate research and be able to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, including supervising graduate students in clinical intervention practica. Candidates in all areas of clinical psychology will be considered, although preference will be given to applicants who can contribute to one or more of three themes that cut across areas of the department: neuroscience, child/life-span development, and social interactions/relationships. Applicants who can contribute to graduate training in quantitative methods are also of particular interest.
Stony Brook has an excellent Psychology Department with a top-rated clinical program and a new neuroimaging center. We are located on the Long Island Sound, 60 miles from Manhattan.
